1825 - Lafayette arrived at Greenwood welcomed by Judge John Williams Green and his wife Million Cooke Green, escorted by 40 mounted troopers.
1925 - Culpeper Minute Men DAR created pageant reccreating this meeting with a costumed ball.
2025 - Lafayette will be welcomed by Bob and Eleanor Green Long, escorted by 4 Mounted Honor Guards.
